I just put a down payment on my custom Pave (1/2 eternity). Decent Deal?

Some of you might remember my previous posts about the diamond I purchased .998 ACA I color SI1... I just bought the setting!

I am having it made custom by Max Marcus in Newton Ma. Martin Haske recomended Max Marcus when Mark Morrell was unavailable.

Here are the details:

4 prong platinum, solitare style 1/2 eternity, low set basket head.

The 10 pave stones are 5 pointers.

I am paying $1600.

What do you think?
