Of course, you''ll have to check and make sure it''s eye-clean enough for you. After all, it is an I1. But it might be getting towards big enough, no?

Something is so not right here...A check on Pscope for H, SI2 stones in the 5 carat ranges runs from 48,000-60,000 depending on cut.... I don't think an I1 would knock $20,000+ off the price, no???

Jen I would totally check it out if it''s up your alley. It''s in the PS Stat Search as a 1A stone....call Jim!

Some PS''er has to have this fabulous 11mm''er!!

Well, I was teasing mostly. I bet a 5ct I1 wouldn''t be at all eye clean.

However, come to think of it, this diamond raises a question in my mind about EGL. Given that EGL has the category SI3, does that mean that their I1s are especially bad as I1''s go? That is, if it were a good I1, they''d grade it SI3?
