I just want to say thanks to everyone for helping me out with budget, learning about diamonds and recommendations of where to go etc. This process started back in September (right here on pricescope) and I got my ring (and propsal) last week. :)

Thanks also to Ari at Singlestone for the beautiful OEC diamond and beautiful custom setting.

Here''s a link to my engagement post in the Ladies in Waiting section, with pics of the gorgeous ring!

i was just thinking about Singlestone and how i would dearly love an OEC upgrade someday. your ring definitely confirms my belief that Singlestone is the way to go..

congrats on the engagement!

eta: i forgot to ask what the specs are for the stone.

Your ring is just gorgeous, and very unique. I love it! Congratulations!

The stone is J VS2 1.7 carat OEC diamond. It's amazing how white it looks even in person. I fell in love with the stone (which was in another ring) and went from there. :)

Oh MY!! Your ring is gorgeous, congrats. I have always heard great things about Ari, and Singlestone.

The ring is a Singlestone design, no work on my part, just the picking it out part!

I also tried posting one more pic at the bottom of the thread that I linked, it''s just ok though.... 100kb is hard to conform to for upload size!

Your ring is beautiful congratulations on your engagement

it looks amazingly white for a J stone! i was just on their site, looking at some lovely j and K stones...

beautiful ring, would love to see more photos if you have time!

I second erica k''s request! In particular, I want to see a close-up of the band from the side. The detailing is beautiful and delicate. Is it a split shank? I don''t think I have ever seen anything quite like it! I am simply mesmerized by it. Congratulations again! I am very happy for you.

I wouldn''t call it a split shank but it has that cut out piece on each side which gives it that look. I posted a side view pic in my thread (linked above), it may not be closeup enough but it''s hard to post 100k and under detailed photos. The side of the band has little diamonds on it. The circle on the side is a tiny diamond and there are three circles across the underside of the front and back of the ring, if that makes any sense... those three are also teeny diamond stones. Just accents.

it''s just beautiful...congrats!!
