This was one of those rare books that also has a really enjoyable sequel, World Without End.

I am such a fan of Pillars of the Earth, that I''m saving the sequel for my honeymoon. I keep going to Barnes & Noble, picking up World Without End, flipping through it, and setting it back down. I can''t give in!

The book was by far the longest I''ve read, but so amazing - the author''s style is easy to read, and I love the suspense/sex/crime/drama/HISTORY. I am a huge historical fiction girl.
