I've found this engagement ring on IDONOWIDONT and contacted the seller regarding the certification paperwork. She states that she does not have the original certification. I just asked for her to provide the appraisal that she references in the listing and will wait for a response. I know that the website has their gemologist look at the stone to make certain that it matches the listing, but I don't really trust a gemologist who is paid by this website. How would you move forward with this and do you believe its a good deal?

I'd tell the seller to get a GIA or AGS grading report or no deal.

Nothing is a bargain if you can't be sure of what it is.
