I chopped my hair! (or, "THIS is 1.5 inches??")

So, last week I went to my hairstylist for my regular cut. Since I have a few interviews coming up, I asked for it to look "clean and professional" She suggested taking off 1.5 inches (instead of the normal 1/2 to 1 inch).

I THINK I like the new cut...but not sure...and definitely think it ended up being more than 1.5 inches!!

Ditto! It''s a little harder for me to tell if it''s 1.5 inches or not because you''re wearing your hair curled under in the "before" pics. But I wouldn''t call it "chopped"

It looks great, it really does! And it does give you a professional look...you still have plenty of length, even if it feels like a lot was taken off. You look terrific, go to those interviews with confidence!

It looks great. I think that maybe the styling has something to do with your perception of the length. It doesn''t look too short to me. In fact I had to keep going back and forth to see the difference. I like the new style.

I made a big mistake and chopped over a foot of my hair off and cut bangs. Bad decision. I miss my old long hair soooooooo much.

I think it looks great! It really doesn''t look like she took off very much at all. I think it just looks more drastic than it is because of the style, flicked out at the ends.
That amount will grow out again in no time. Meantime, enjoy your light, healthy hair!

I think it looks great too, even though I''m in the "she definitely took a good 2 inches off " camp. I''m completely convinced that haircutters have a different mental image of what an inch is than we do. I can''t even estimate how many times a haircutter has told me they''re trimming off an inch and I look in the mirror when it''s dry and

Ditto this. I had to go back and forth to see the difference. I think you cut the dead and dry ends off your hair, and now your hair looks healthy and shiny! I like it.
