I bought the DIAMOND :) Very Excited!!!!

Well everyone I bought the diamond. It was between the GIA VS2 G or the ASG SI1 H. I ended up going with the GIA, after everything you guys told me I still thought comparing the two next to each other the GIA had more sparkle. Here is the link to the diamond

The apprasier also thought the GIA looked better. They had a lot of similar qualities and I am happy with the decision I made. Now its time for the ring... What do you guys think of this one from WF???

Click on the picture to see it with a princess cut. Do you think the stone sits a little LOW. If so should I ask to have it made a little taller?

Congratulations! What a beautiful stone. I think the setting you have chosen is AWESOME, the head on it is gorgeous and I like this setting much better with a princess than a round. It''s hard to tell if it sits low, have you done a search for any PS''ers that might have it and have hand shots posted?

Great stone and setting choices, I think she is going to be thrilled. As far as the setting sitting low, I personally prefer this. It''s so easy to knock rings around and high settings are not very practical for working women or mothers handling children.

Congrats! I personally HATE tall settings, so I think the setting is great the way it is...

I love that setting and think it is the perfect height! You don''t want it so high that it hits on things and gets damaged.

I adore this setting, and like everyone else, I strongly advise against making it higher! In fact, if I were getting it, I might even consider setting it lower.

If you get this setting, post plenty of pictures! I always preferred it with a princess, but all I''ve seen on this board have been RBs. Your 1.5ct princess will look stunning in it!
