I BOUGHT MY DRESS!!!

I wasn''t planning on buying anything, but I went to look at Demetrios and found this amazing dress that''s not exactly what I thought I wanted, but I loved it. I thought I wanted an ivory ball gown, but I ended up with a white full a-line. It''s fairly simple, which I knew I wanted. I don''t have pics of me in it because I didn''t have my camera with me (it was a spur of the moment trip) and the only pic I can find online is this one below that really doesn''t do the dress justice.

Anyway, it was a steal! Another bride had ordered it and then changed her mind when it came in so it had only been tried on a few times. It was originally $1600, but after she changed her mind it was discontinued and they dropped the price to $600 and I got it for $500! Yay!

I''m not sure when I''ll be able to get pics of me in it since we don''t have a full length mirror in our new place and FI isn''t allowed to see the dress, but when I get them, I''ll make sure to post

Thanks everyone! It''ll probably be a while before I post pics. I want to have the slip on when I do it and my mom apparently found one for $4 at a garage sale yesterday, so I''ll wait to try it on with that. If the slip isn''t right, at least it was only $4. Woohoo! I won the veil!!! I''m so excited. FI and I have decided that we WILL be asking FSIL to be a bridesmaid. I was never against it, but he thought it was weird to have her stand up for me when we don''t know eachother that well. Apparently his mom said something about it to him again today (his parents were out here helping us move) and when he said we weren''t going to ask her FMIL got all sad. She''s been really awesome about letting this wedding be completely about us and hasn''t requested anything thus far, so we''ll "give in" (I was fine with it from the beginning so I don''t really see it as giving in to anything) to this request. I think it will be lots of fun. We''re already planning a shopping trip with me, my mom, my sister, my other maid of honor, FMIL and FSIL to go looking at BM dresses over Christmas and I haven''t even asked FSIL yet. Lol.

FMIL and I had a good time today talking about all kinds of wedding stuff. Yay!
