Not only do I not have any studs at the moment and Holly is in NYC getting re-sized (bl**dy Brinks held onto my package for over 2 weeks and finally released it only yesterday!), NOW my pear ring is loose and cannot be worn!(

I accidentally dropped it onto my dressing room floor last night and one or more of the prongs must have loosened as the result of the impact!! And I have to wait until I go to NYC next summer to have Leon tighten the prong(s) - I just don't trust anyone local to do it.

Can I please have some sympathy?!!

I think this is a sign from the universe that you should spend more time searching for your 6.5 to 7.5 OEC/OMC ...and then bring it with you to Leon to have the setting made in the summer and leave NYC with your pear AND your antique diamond in another Leon creation

Thank you, sweetie. I really do feel so lost and naked without (most of) my bling. I know that sounds really indulgent and spoilt but I can't help it! I knew I could come to PS and get sympathy for my "problem" (first world and all )!

I am hoping to get Holly back next week or the week after. I am not sure when LM closes, but hopefully not before Holly gets re-sized and sent back to me!

Yes, I have an eternity band (forgot about that actually, he he), but it's soooo small and no diamond necklace either, only pearl ones.

I am waiting for BGD to cut me a match for the 2.374ct G Si1 "blue". They cut me one but it turned out to be a "regular" H. I feel bad not taking it but my G looks like an F, too much of a mismatch. Lesley said they've put out words to their supplier in Antwerp and will let me know as soon as anything suitable comes up.

JA has a 3ct G with SBF stone which I thought might be suitable as a match for the 3.02ct F , but the price is very high even after discounts. So am still trying to search for a match to the 3ct F...... Actually, I am now undecided about getting 3ct each studs, despite what I said recently. The 2.3ct each studs should be absolutely fine, for now, if not forever (am a bit wary of using this word "forever" though, he he ). In any case, If the 6-7ct antique ends up costing more than USD100k, I may just sell the 3ct - and would like to have a decent amount of cash left after all the sales and put that towards the purchase of an investment property. I'd feel really selfish if I were to use up all the sales proceeds for myself. It might seem like I use a lot of our money to buy bling for myself but I'd truly like to contribute more towards our savings/ retirement needs.
