I am in need of advice on sizing rings for stacking!

I am rewarding myself and ordering 2 rings for stacking and am unsure of what ring size to get. Should they both be in my usual size 7, or should one of them be bigger, say a 7.5? Or is that too big?

Thanks a million!

Typically when I stack several bands together that are around the 2mm marker I get a quarter size larger then my size. So since I'm a size 6 for stackers I get a 6.25. If the ring were more then 2mm I would probably go up another quarter size to 6.5 for comfort.

Just keep in mind that if there's too much of a size difference (more than 1/4 for me) - they won't line up evenly on your finger - some will look wider. I like my stacks pretty even.

Aaahhh...I hadn't thought of that. The bands I want are described as "3.5mm from its two widest points" and my intention is to wear them together, plus occassionaly add my wedding band(2mm I think).

Given all that, what sizes would be best on a size 7 finger?

And sincere thanks for all the advice :)

When I wear 2 stacking bands they are the same size but when I have 4 one of them is normally 1/2 size bigger

The more rings I wear, the bigger they get. Currently, I have:

At the bottom, a french cut ruby band at 6.25

Then my wedding band, at 5.75

Then my new-old vintage setting in a 7

Flanked by a very thin orange blossom band at a 6

Together, they seem to average out at 5.5!

This sounds like what I want to have some day, TONS of stackers, LOL! Is there a picture of all this wonderfulness?

If I wore the 2 new stackers plus my wedding band it might go something like this;

top, new 3.5 mm stacker, 7.5 (or is 7.25 better?)
middle, 2-ish mm wedding band, 7
bottom, new 3.5 mm stacker 7

Aaaand...if I wore the 2 stackers by themselves it would be:

top, new 3.5 mm stacker, 7.5
bottom, new 3.5 mm stacker 7

So, perhaps, 7.5 might be to big?
