Well..it''s official!!
My diamond ring got shipped off today, along with a manual!
Well..not really a manual, but two pages of pics and "wants", to give the designer a GOOD idea of what I want the ring to look like. I covered all the bases, so that there are no surprises! He''ll probably laugh when he sees a different pic for every angle of the ring (top, side, rotated a little, gallery, open bottom on gallery, scroll work, engraving, diamonds here, but not there...I might make his head spin!)
I will hopefully have a wax sent to me in about a week or so. If all goes well..I will have the ring on my hand on Feb. 23rd!!
My husband already told me that if he is dishing out a couple grand..NOT to expect a thing, for Valentine''s Day, or Easter, or any other holiday that comes before Christmas ''09! lol
I just find it weird to have NO rings on my hand at all. I guess I''ll get used to it, and I''m sure the 3 weeks will fly by!
I will post pics of he wax when it arrives, and maybe I can get some recommendations, as to what stays and what needs to be added.
