Hi,

I'm looking at a 1.5 carat SI2 stone which is priced pretty well and has a pretty clear table. However, I'm concerned about whether the inclusions at the edge of the stone will make it fragile and potentially prone to chipping?

The full details of the stone are here:

Thank you!

I would avoid a stone with inclusions such as cavity and knots. Could potentially have durability issues.

Any diamond that will be hit with hard object on the girdle will chicp .These feathers are small and will not endanger the diamond's strength. Dont forget the diamond has passed cutting at high tempratures and stood by it.
If you can , ask the setter to put the prongs just as close to these feathers so they will protect the area from being hit, but not over the feathers!
If it was for me I would take it with no hesitation
