You just want to know how the hell anyone would set the starship enterprise, admit it

I need the icon that rolls around on the floor laughing.

I do admit, that is the FIRST thing I thought, after I stopped giggling over your choice.

Now, come on... the curiosity is killing me.

These are my dream settings!

I think step cuts are just growing on me, though i wished they faced up larger. I want to add 1 step cut to my collection and then I think it will be complete...well maybe! I guess I should never say never.

Baa hahahahaaa!

I am curious!

A pendant?

This was my choice:

I would wait for 2 x 0.5ct matching August Vintage Round Ns and set it in a three stone like this:

LOL Msop, it is lunch time for me (I'm in germany)! I think you will find most of the people posting are from Europe

Fun!
As much as I love antique settings, for everyday I like my settings a bit classic.

This reminded me of you: http://www.1stdibs.com/jewelry/rings/engagement-rings/stunning-triangular-diamond-platinum-art-deco-engagement-ring/id-j_167780/

Don't worry I had the same dilemma. I really like the stone it's way cooler than a boring trilliant - they normally don't come with free steps.... I saw your above link and a couple of other rings like it, but I think it's a little lopsey to put into a straight halo. Pendant maybe? I actually think it would make a really cool ring if you could get an antique style halo around it to even out the fact it isn't symmetrical and a prong to cover the white inclusions I can see really clearly on one side of it.

I went over all the types of stones you could add to it as sides to even out the shape but mentally that just didn't work.

I think it would look really amazing hanging. So a bezelled charm, allowed to swing freely or a pendant or something like that.

Hmmm, I would either wait for another for a match and make a gorgeous pair of elegant drop earrings-that dangle just below the earlobe or do a short necklace choker style with the octavia right in the sexy part of the neck. Classic and elegant.

For the EC, from Engagement Ring Direct, with a wider plain shank, in platinum:

For the Heart cut, from White Flash, again, with a wider plain shank, and in all platinum:

DK :))

Harriet's Tsavorite setting, I have it saved but I'm not going to post it. Those of you who know it will remember it :)

Here's the diamond I love but would prefer square, fancy brownish yellow DBL antique style cushion.

I recently got this gorgeous platinum setting that has a place-holder stone, and I could get a FLY radiant to go in it, or I might set a sapphire in it. But it has made me want a yellow diamond, and I might alternately go for a light yellow AVC or emerald cut in another ring.

My alternate stone is an AVC, although I'd really like a little larger if I were going to really do this! This one is a beauty, though.

In fact, if I didn't go for the yellow stone in the previous ring, I'd love to have a light yellow AVC.

There are several Singlestone rings that I love, so these might be among my choices. The last one is Yenny's setting with a DBL yellow cushion. (I have to say, though, someday I am going to have a Mike Robinson ring and I have no idea what stone it will have nor do I know the design yet!)

I chose this http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/9409/ aaaaand I dunno how I'd set it. Erika has great taste, so I think I would just work directly w/her on something sleek and simple. Or, I'd get a big/warm OEC and have it in a cushion bezel-the solitaire version of her three stone. I can't find any big/warm oec's to link to.
