How would you incorporate french cuts in this setting?

Hi, Yes I now own that setting and I am kicking myself because when I saw the Nicole Ritchie ring I knew it would look amazing with a smaller round in it. I put a coloured stone cushion into it which had to be recut a couple of times and is substantially smaller than the original stone that came out of it and I still think it would look better with a round stone. It would have more of an airline gap that is all. It's a stunning setting in real life.

It's an amazing setting. I make the observation that it is the type of ring that looks better on a size 5.50+ or larger finger than yours - the problem you may have had with it, I think was that it was literally too big for your petite fingers, rather than it being the type of ring that actually gets caught on things (its bezel set and not a particularly catchy type ring).... Generally it's a stunning ring.

I haven't posted it because I still haven't figured out what I am going to do with it. Leave it as is now or send it back to Grace.... Once I do I will post pics.
