How to take a good picture of my diamond?

Hi, everyone,
I want to take the picture of my ring but my camera''s auto focus just does not focus on my diamond..... Can someone give me advice on how to take a close up diamond''s pictures under the candle light?

Do you have macro mode on the camera ( flower icon?) Use that and no flash, keep the ring and the camera as steady as possible and try taking pics outside with the sun behind you. Experiment, it can take a little while to get the knack of it!

Be prepared to take lots and lots of photos! As Lorelei said, take your ring outside and put your camera on macro. Prop up the ring so that the light is hitting it and take thirty or forty pictures. Discard all but the one or two good ones you got. Lather, rinse, repeat.
