How should I set this Barbie pink Mahenge spinel?

Looks like my response only went through only partially, i guess even my typing reached a point of “ignore and proceed”.

It looks great. And if you find that there is any comfort issue with the ends of the baskets it’s easy to soften those a little after the fact.

It’s going to be great! What metal is it?

I was thinking yellow gold mostly because i really like yellow gold and it seems that these stones can work with either white or yellow gold. For cost reasons 14K.

Ring is ready and getting shipped today, will post more photos once i have it. They are screenshots from videos so a but blurry and they do not show the vivid colors accurately.IMG_5119.jpegIMG_5117.jpeg

Woohoo! Oh I just know it's going to exceed your expectations in person!!

The ring is here and it is so much better than I was hoping it would be. We have a very gloomy day today, sun decided to take time off, and so the photos are not that great.
I wanted the ring to be comfortable, low fuss and it is all that while having a nice presence. I have been wanting a snake ring and I like that this has some snake in it.
Thank you everyone for joining me on this journey, sharing feedback, and advice!

That's beautiful! The colours were strong to start with, and the setting allows them to play off against each other, so they look even stronger. The soft light is perfect for bringing out the colours.

Yes, it definitely 'has some snake in it'. What is better than one snake? Two complementary snakes. With glittery diamond 'scales'. You may like to add it to the snake jewellery thread:

Custom design can be stressful, but the result was worth it!

You are so right about glittery scales, i didn’t think about that, i was so focused on the shape itself.

Agreed, custom design is complicated but having been able to run ideas and get help with cad files from PS experts made it so much easier.

It honestly couldn't be any more beautiful... totally exceeded my expectations and, more importantly, I hope it did for you too!!

Who made the setting for you? Would you work with them again?

It’s looks gorgeous, the perfect setting for those stones. It looks very low and comfortable to wear, too.
Thank you and thank you for all your help. Yes very low profile and comfortable, exactly what i was looking for.
