How much did you size up for your eternity ring?

Hi All!

I am having an eternity ring made by David Klass, a 3.8mm, 22 pointer (16 stones) I had said size 5, I currently wear between a 4.25, and 4.5... Should I size up to a 5.25 and get beads? This ring isn't huge by eternity standards, but sizeable enough I want to get this right! Would love your feedback. My fingers have grown a tad. I used to wear a 4, and my Tiffany Novo wedding band no longer fits (I swear they run small). I would love your thoughts!

I have a 3mm Tiffany channel set band that I got in my normal size. Not sure how much the difference in height with a shared prong band would make, but I surely wouldn’t want it too big. It already will create bulk between the fingers so I would want to size it pretty close to your correct size. Can you go to a jewelry store to try some on? I am sure David Klass could advise or send you a sizer to try.

My 5mm eternity ring is 0.5 size up from my regular size. It is comfortable enough.

Yes- I’m waiting for David to confirm- I think a 5 is sufficient!

That’s helpful!!! I think a half die is likely enough!

I wouldn't go more than a half size up. Even then, you may need some sizing beads. I generally go a quarter size up for my wider rings.

Do you plan to stack the band?

Everyone’s different. My fingers were a slim trim 5.5 when I married, ballooned up to a size 9.5 while pregnant, went back down to a 6.5 then came the big M and up to size 7.5 / 8 again.
So I got a 3/4 eternity band and it’s been adjusted quite a few times.

I went up half a size and added sizing beads.

Yay I can answer this now lol…

I am a 4.75, and am going up .75 … to a 5.5.

I bought my eternity big enough to fit my middle finger so it would at least still fit on my ring finger if my size gets bigger. Of course this doesn't help if you're buying it as a wedding/anniversary band for your right hand ring finger:-) Good luck deciding!

On my eternity I sized up .75 but .5 would've been plenty.

Hey All! Thanks for the replies! Just to close out I received my finished band back in Decemeber... I went with a size 5, and I wear about a 4.25... I did get sizing beads and it fits perfectly. Just wanted to close this out, as I saw it was resurrected from back in November?? :lol-2:

By meeeeeee…. By buckle up, there’s lots of old threads I can chime in now, I’m resurrecting them all blahahahahahahah :lol-2:
