I got interested in this brand Coeur de Lion (site link) which is German. I’m going to Germany in 2 months and working out my shopping budget.
This brand has a US online shop, but it is more expensive up front and charges sales tax. Online I saw values of 11-13% VAT returned (I’ve gotten VAT refunds before, but never in Germany, so I estimated on the low side.) If I buy there, I have to spend the time I have hunting down a store so I want it to be worth it.
I chose an example set of necklace, ring, bracelet.
This would mean buying in Germany would save me around 43%! Well worth it especially if I’m buying for multiple people.
