My dad's dad gave it to him back in the 40's while they were living in Venezuela. It's in terrific shape. It's Swiss made, says Nivada on it, 21 rubis, Datemadic. It actually still works when you pick it up for 2-3 mins, then it stops until the day you pick it up again. I've been getting tons of emails from people wanting this. I want to know where I should sell it and how much I could get for it.. Thank you very much for your insight.. GOD BLESS.

Nivada is a Swiss made watch. I’m presuming that with a stainless steel back that the watch case is gold fill, not solid gold. As such the watch part is worth probably around $300 as it needs a service (costing between $100 and $200).
The “money” is in the watchband. It looks like very high carat gold. 24kt? Does it have any “marks” on it? If “made by a known artisan” it will be worth more than it’s melt value. I’m not sure what those symbols etc are on the watch band so the bracelet might have more value to people you collect such items.
To calculate gold melt value you’d need to get a jeweller or watchmaker to remove the band from the watch head. Easy to do if you have the right tool, takes like 2 seconds.
Weigh it and check the gold price.
Don’t take it to a pawnbroker or gold dealer unless you have already calculated its gold value. Some establishments offer less then half the gold value to the unwary. You won’t get 100% value of melt value, aim for around 90%.
