How long do you spend styling your hair in the morning?

If I shower, 15 minutes. If I don’t wash it, five minutes. Brush, fluff, some hair spray, go. My hair is about 5 inches below the shoulder and I wear it down most days or twisted up in a bun when it’s hot or I exercise.

Zero time.
It is dead straight and a bob.
I always wash my hair, comb it and leave the house. Over the years I can’t tell you how many older women, when I was young, would say to me “you’ll get pneumonia from wet hair”. Never did.
Interesting when my daughter had friends for sleepover I got asked for the hair dryer.
I don’t and never have owned a hair dryer or any styling product. I don’t even let the hairdresser dry my hair after a cut and colour. Old habits die hard.

5min, blow dried after a shower every morning, hairspray, done.

Low maintenance except for the monthly hair cut.

DK :))

On a daily basis? Zero - I wear it down, and I don't brush it. When I wash it though - I spend nearly 2 hours on styling it (detangling time included) - I have very curly hair and it needs an awful amount of product and styling to not frizz!

I'd say 5-10 minutes!! I have curly/wavy hair, few inches past my shoulders.

Somewhere between 0-3minutes of combing depending on where I am in my (generally) 3 day hair wash cycle.

Lopped off my wavy hair about a year ago (density issues) and have been struggling to find a style that I like since then. As I'm up at 4am, I don't have much time. Well the latest cut was a disaster, so in desperation I tried blow drying the heck out of it (not using my diffuser). The cut looks better. Not great, but I don't curse every time I pass a mirror. I'm realizing I may have to get up 10 mins earlier to do this. Sigh. OK.

My hair is quite curly, and just below my shoulders. If it's a shampoo day (which is about every four days or so), I keep a towel on my head to absorb the excess water, then apply a serum to tame any wild curls, and let it air dry. After it's dry, break up the curls with my fingers.

For in-between days, I just detangle/fluff it up with my fingers, and if necessary, spritz it with water.

So just a few moments of time.

If I were to blow dry/style, it would be at least 30 minutes, so that's not happening!

Way too much! I fight a losing battle almost everyday. Lol. I’m seriously considering a Brazilian blowout to help control the frizziness.

I have a grey lob.
If my hair doesn't need to be washed, my morning styling takes one minute : I brush my hair, then I do a quick french braid with few large sections or a low donut bun.
If the hair is frizzy, I just put a very small quantity of styling mousse before making the french braid or the bun.
During the cold seasons when I wash my hair I blow dry for 5 minutes; during hot seasons, I wash my hair and then immediately do the french braid.

i had a hair dryer but never used it so i gave it away, they are so bad for your hair
im like you, 2 seconds to style hair
my hair is thin and getting long again so i never brush it wet, i just run my hands through it as it dries
i run the towel down over it like maybe twice when i get out of the shower after washing it
never rub it
i always condition
then i just tuck it up under my hat and im off to work

heaven forbid if i get a tug or a knot i cant gently get out i gently use some olive oil

Oh its so beautiful

Six months ago I would have told you about 90 seconds a day. But in the past month I've been trying to figure out my Mother of the Bride hairdo and have been styling it a lot more. I've decided to try to put more effort into it now. I stopped dying my hair in 2020 so am about 15-20% gray. Those grays have a completely different texture than my brown hair, and it just looks one million times better when I style them than when I don't. So I'm going to start putting forth SOME effort, which will probably be 30 minutes on wash days and maybe 5 or so on the other days. Hoping I will stay motivated.

Two days a week I drag out the hot rollers, so about 45 minutes on thise days. The other five days I brush it, put it in a clip and go. It’s so thin nothing makes it look pretty. Presentable is the goal now.

Samesies. I just brush my wet hair and go. Blow dry my hair maybe once a year.

Not very long, a few minutes to brush out the knots and I usually wear my hair in a high ponytail.
I have long straight hair and I’ve been doing heatless curls for ages, it’s lovely to wake up with voluminous waves with little to no effort.
I cannot curl my hair with tongs or a straightner, so this works well and it’s better for my hair.

I have long straight hair, I usually take about 10 minutes to towel and blow dry every other day (shampoo days) and on non shampoo days, takes me about 5 minutes to wet the ends a little and blow dry ends only.

Boy short right now, 30 second finger comb.
