Wow, I looked at the map for the US and a majority of the US looks like it is in the 90's-100

In the Southwest where I live it is suppose to be 101 today; thank goodness we do not have humidity!

It's actually only 86 in southeast AL today, which is surprisingly cool for this time of the year. We must be getting some cooler temps from the gulf coast. It looks like we will be back to our usual 95-100 degrees and high humidity in a few days though.

Here in Rhode Island it is 94 degrees with a heat index of 100. Tomorrow it is supposed to be close to 100 degrees with a feel like temperature of 106.

Right now, it's 68 and raining. I live about 2.5 hours southwest of Duluth, Minnesota which is in a state of severe flooding due to NINE inches of rain today. Yikes!

We are just struggling to get thru the first heat warning event of the year in our city. Elderly, vulnerable, homeless are all being cautioned to take care, drink fluids, get to an air conditioned facility for at least 2 hours of daylight hours.... Tomorrow, we start going door to door, to the most vulnerable-identified in the city.

(not wearing heals and a dress tomorrow... that's for sure!)

101 according to my house thermometer. It was humid though not as gross as the last two days were which were still upper 90s. My DH just got back from DFW after a few days there and it was cooler there by a lot he said.

Not sure what the hottest temperature was here today but right now it is 95.2 degrees with the heat index being at 100.5 F. That is way too hot. Ofc, I froze my a** off at work today but I am not complaining. I much prefer freezing to boiling. You can always put more clothes on but there is a limit to what you can take off at work if you KWIM.

Everyone thinks of Florida as being so hot, but the high will only be 89 on the coast today. I don't think we hit that yesterday as it was rainy. The only problem down here is the mosquitoes. We've been having so much rain that you can't go outside wihout some off or you will get ate up.
