I have seen a lot of jewelry made out of 10kt gold. I was wondering what you thought of the quality of it? Would you purchase it?

At 18, yes cause my first piece of jewelry was a pair of 9kt tiny hoops after my dad pierced my ears with a suturing needle but at 40 maybe not.

yes for a fun ring
for an ering for wifey2b or everyday ring no.

10k tends to corrode on me in the summer time.

Its fine for the less expensive jewelry pieces imo. I don't really like rings in 10k, but in necklace chains, I don't mind it.

Yes, I have a pair of large hoop earrings that are 9 carat white gold. I wanted something inexpensive, and a white metal but silver tarnishes too quickly for my liking, platinum is too expensive, and higher gold content metals were more yellow than I wanted.

I would, but not for an e-ring or wedding band.

Thanks everyone!!

I wouldn''t buy 10kt for important jewelry like wedding rings, or other important pieces but for an inexpensive "fun" ring, why not?

Ditto - not for an ering or wring but for fun jewelry and chains definitely.
