Just about every diamond vendor now has their own line of SuperIdeal cuts, Just wondering if anyone (PS appraisers) have taken a look at them and if they live up to their claims or just a bunch of marketing fluff?
Off the top of my head (Im sure theres many more):
Hearts On Fire
Excel Superbcert
Whiteflash A Cut Above
Blue Nile Signature Ideal
James Allen Signature
Kay Leo Diamond
Jared Peerless Diamond
Eighternity
Solasfera
With the exception of Eighternity and Solasfera(which are cut in a different pattern)Are the others just diamonds that has(or somewhat resembles) Heart and Arrow patterns, that the vendor just puts their fancy names on, to sell them at a premium price?
I am curious as to which ones could be crossed of the list as nothing more than a sales gimmick. (Or are they ALL sales gimmicks)
Reason for this post, I saw for the first time a Hearts on Fire loose diamond (It was just for a second as I was not really diamond "window" shopping, but just happen to pass by a jeweler that sold them). And I could tell you this, I was not impress with it, It didnt really "Bling-Bling-Blow me away" as they sold to me in their ads. Granted I didnt look at it that long (I was on my 20 min lunch break). The jeweler even held the HOF stone in indirect lighting across the store to show me how it performed (And it didnt
) I dont know, maybe the stone was dirty, as it seems thats the HOF stone he shows anybody thats interested.
