yes,its in a 4 prong setting. i know she don''t care for fancy setting she wears the simple 6 prong ring daily.Date: 1/22/2009 9:36:05 AM

Am I right in thinking it is set in a 4-prong setting? I personally would go for at least 6-prongs for a stone of that size. Maybe your wife thinks it looks too big on her small hand, and prefers something that doesn''t stand out as much???
Why not sell it and use the money for something else? Undulge us with a picture DF.

that one was lost in a robbery 13 yrs ago,so no sentimental attachment on either ring.Date: 1/22/2009 9:23:10 AM

Does she wear the ring you originally got her instead? It might hold a lot of sentimental attachment there.... Maybe she looks at the new e-ring like a cocktail ring... and not an ering... so if your feelings are hurt... talk to her about it.
Maybe you''ll get some ''I''m sorry I hurt your feelings luvin!''
