(If there is such a thing).
For example, for me at least, for a 24/7 e ring this Harry Winston would be too big. (23.14cts plus baguettes).

It is the 3 stone setting I''m hoping to get as an e ring though, but I''m not sure what to tell my BF I would ideally want size-wise for the center asscher or EC stone. I don''t want to ever upgrade- it will be too sentimental. So factoring in DSS, what center stone measurements would you suggest for great finger coverage? The ring will be size 4-5, probably 4.75 so it won''t be tight in the summer.

It''s hard to know how wide the baguettes would be. I don''t want them hidden between my fingers if that makes sense?

Thanks!

Here''s my dream ring (if it comes in a lighter color blue)... This would be a real Leon Mege masterpiece. His work is so graceful and well proportioned.

You need to get in a store and try on squares in various diameters/ct. weights. There''s no way we can tell you what you think looks best on you.

Get a light blue sapphire with that cut set like that and you''ll be in business!

Have you looked in person or tried any asscher or EC rings on for size AND for how the shape looks on your hand? Very important! Also, you want to be sure a three-stone feels comfortable to you.

agree, seeing online versus trying on in the real world is sooo different, You might even like something you never thought you would.

How big is too big? It''s a personal question. I''m a teacher in a tough area. Personally, I would feel uncomfortable walking around with a huge diamond. That''s just me. Also, it depends on what kind of work you do. I''ve heard that people who wear gloves a lot have a hard time with higher set and larger diamonds. Pre-school and art teachers sometimes don''t even wear rings because they are always touching paint, clay, ect. So, all of these things should be taken into consideration when deciding on the size of your ring. Of course, see what looks best on you too. Best of luck.
