Hi, I'm interested in this diamond even though it isn't absolutely optimal. I cannot get ASET/IdealScope - hence the title, but judging from the numbers how bad could it really be compared to say a GOG H&A AGS 0/GIA ex candidate. This is a 0.45 G, VS1 (only a cloud is noted), GIA EX EX EX (small by PS standards but my partner likes 0.4-0.6). I'm very happy with the clarity/colour and even size, so just the cut I need help on:
Measurements (round brilliant):
4.94 - 4.96 x 3.04mm (seems to face up quite nicely for its weight)
Proportions:
Depth 61.3%
Table 56%
Crown Angle 34
Crown Height 15%
Pavilion Angle 41
Pavilion Depth 43%
Star length 55%
Lower half 80%
Girdle medium to slightly thick, faceted, 3.5%
No cul/FL
2012 report issued.
HCA 1.3, EX EX VG VG (on the chart it is in the zone that could also be a AGS 0 candidate).
Note that this diamond does not have h&a, I haven't seen it yet. I've never seen a h&a in person so I wouldn't notice any difference anyway. Just because I couldn't notice the difference, would anyone else that knew what a h&a (i.e. a lot of you) be able to discern the difference with the human eye?
Thanks for any help, I'm interested to see what you think to the stone.
