HOT''s Wedding Invites (with Pics)

My invites are done! A little later than i would have liked but the invite making process was interupted by my 30th birthday yesterday.

I had lots of fun making these and i am happy with how they turned out, all that is left to do is post them!

Sorry the photos are a little subpar, i had to turn the flash off because it kept over exposing them, so they are a little blurry.

i only had the magnet on the invite itself, but i had plenty left over so i put them on the envelope too.. this way the other info wont get lost, and the envelope is just as pretty as the invite, i didn''t want it to miss out.

Magsy, i designed and made them myself from scratch. (i had a friend come help with the folding and glueing though). I knew that i wanted that style of invite as you can get 3 from an A4 page. I found the silver envelope in a clearance box at a craft store and the rest just came together on its own. They were really easy and i had alot of fun doing them.

We had the same fans in the same colour at our wedding. We handed them out with programs as it was hot, and they were such a hit. People actually held onto them for the reception too.

They came in quite handy on our holidays later when we went sightseeing. So good to have a fan when you are in the tropical heat doing stuff!!!

They went in the mail last night and i have already had a few messages from people saying that they love them.

Honey, thanks for telling me about your fans... i was begining to wonder if they were a silly idea as my mum thought it was weird. I am definately taking a couple on our honeymoon to bali though!

Idream, i went back and had a look at mmm''s photos.. so fabulous! there are definately a few ideas i can ''borrow'' from there.

junebug, a girl i work with told me that i was definately in the wrong field.

i would love to help others make their own.. it was the most fun i had all holidays!

Now i am trying to think of other ideas i can do so i can use some more of that pretty paper!!
