Thoughts on hot air balloon proposals?

Thinking of doing it in lake tahoe, but only balloon that launches carries group trips of about eight people. Weird?

Balloon launches from and lands on the lake which is too cool.

If you want to do a balloon then just pay for all eight spots or get people you know to go with you. You could also talk to the balloon company and let them in on the idea and maybe they could give you a discount if you rent it yourself? I am planning my proposal right now also and to be honest I have already invested so much for the ring what's another grand at this point?
