I was hoping someone with knowledge greater than mine would look at these specs and let me know if this is a ring that I should consider buying.

From the GIA grading report:

Round Brilliant
7.43 - 7.47 - 4.51 mm
1.56 carat
60.6% depth
60% table
medium to slightly thick, faceted
no culet
VG polish
VG symmetry
VS2
H Color
no fluorescence

Many thanks. You all seem very knowledgeable, and any comments you can offer would be appreciated.

For someone to give you a really honest answer, you will have to get a bit more inforamtion..like the crown and pavillion angles. GIA certs dont provide this, but ask the dealer for a sarin report..this should help alot! good luck!

A 60:60 diamond can be very beautiful, or it might be a dud.

You really need Sarin info, crown and pavillion angles, and crunch the HCA Cut Adviser, to get a better feel for whether or not the diamond should remain in consideration.
