AND it looks like they are using a Whiteflash "sample" photo as their picture....

Looks like the WhiteFlash stock image on all of their goods

It strikes me as unlikely to bring that price but it's an interesting way for the seller to advertise since their website link doesn't work. I wonder what they're thinking...

Whiteflash sure takes lovely pictures.

Did you see his feedback??

Has some good no frills prices though. Must be a cutter or direct broker.

Could be something else, perhaps not totally above board. No feedback for over a year. No way to check what was sold. Shows up with a 10 carat diamond. Uses WF stock images and now it looks like they cropped out the background and are still using the diamond image! A cutter or broker with no sample images of his own. Hmmmm

Would I buy from him? No way.

Climber, I do not really understand how you can use the forum to promote your stuff on ebay without disclosing it and then sign with your company name in another post

Ohhhhh,
so now some of climber's posts make more sense to me.
Thanks Leonid

I think it's funny that people try to promote their diamonds here, on a forum that is so critical and full of people who are true diamond experts. Do they think we won't notice that their images are stolen, that what they offer is not above board? It's so pathetic! BTW, WF is aware of the fact that their image was stolen.

EBAY is cleaning up its act??

HAhahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahah!

OK, I have a question for the ebay gurus here.

Obviously climber isn’t expecting to sell this diamond for $345,000 and the idea is to somehow use this to promote his business for other, more saleable goods. Fine. It looks to me like his $345k reserve is going to trigger a $100 insertion fee every week until he pulls it, until it sells, or until hell freezes over. This seems like a terribly expensive promotion for a fellow that can't seem to come up with an actual photo. Am I missing something?

Is it so difficult to run a business honestly?

Perhaps climber1 posts... and then climber2 bids and wins? Since they go to the same bed at night, perhaps they would just call it quits? Just a guess. I have no idea how ebay works.

Here's another coincidence.
Large-Diamond-Net was using climber1 as his ebay name till July 30, 1999
