Hi everyone,

I found this site after it having been recommended to me last week. I think it''s a great site!
My boyfriend and I have been discussing rings. He has the very unenviable task of finding me an engagement ring that I''ll like, except- I DON''T KNOW WHAT I LIKE!

I know exactly what kind of band I''d like to have- a thin, pave-set diamond wedding band. I love how it looks on its own, and I''m sure I won''t always be wearing my engagement ring with it. Mister is stuck on a three-stone engagement ring, which I don''t mind. I''ve toyed with the idea of a three-stone ring in a pave setting, to match the wedding band, but my hands are relatively small (ring size is a 4.75) so I''m guessing the e-ring can get away with no pave on it.

I''m just wondering what kind of setting does a three-stone ring need to be on to match a pave wedding band, and not look awkward? I want the set to fit together, kind of like those I''ve seen on Precision Set''s web site. A close family friend of his will be designing the rings, and I''d prefer we knew what we want. (Finding the right diamonds is another story!)

can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks much in advance!

Here''s on of my favorite 3 stones with pave by Ritani and a the wedding band will sit flush..

i also want to caution you on *close family friends* doing the rings, especially pave. I trust Ritani because they have a proven track record of well done and secure pave but jewelers who aren''t used to doing it day in and day out may not be as successful. We''ve heard a few stories around here of pave stones falling out both by designers as well as local jewelers so it can be a headache you may not want.
