First of all i just want to say hi to everyone on here. I''ve been lurking for a couple months now and have learned a lot in the process. I always try to educate myself before making large purchasing decisions and thought I had done ok for myself till I got here! I almost purchased a stone from BN thinking that a signature ideal cut was going to be a safe bet sight unseen. Now it very well may have been but I''ve been shown the "light" on this forum.

Now that I have that out of the way, here''s where I''m hoping to get some feedback. I''m in the market for a .7-.8 ct princess cut that sparkles like crazy! I''d like to keep the budget under $2600 for the stone. I feel safe going as low as I in color, and as far as clarity it just needs to be eye clean. I have 5 that I''ve narrowed it down to. Any feedback would be great as I''m sure most of you can better get an idea of light return based on ASET images etc. than I can! Thanks to all you diamond nuts in advance!

Most people don't feel really up to looking and evaluating 5 great stones, especially princesses. Those most qualified to give opinions are those who can see them (staff at the respective companies.)

Hi Nervous, and welcome to PS. I noticed that you hadn''t gotten many replies on your princess cuts and thought I might suggest that, if the trend continues, you post under a different heading. Maybe something along the lines of "Pls help with princess cuts" or something to attract our princess experts. If you have a few stones you are considering, it might also help to cut and past the stats on each stone into your message just to make it easier for the busy cut folks.

I''m sorry I can''t help you evaluate the stones but I know nothing about princess!

Good luck!

Welcome to Pricescope!

As Julie says with this calibre of diamond then it can be best for the staff who have the diamonds to advise you really, what we can tell you is very limited, they are all top notch diamonds.
