We got married in 2011, Ive been with her 8 years recently broke the ring that we had and lost the main stone. So I figured id cash in the insurance and move on up.

Last ring was an uncertified 2.5ct center pear sold as F SI2 Graded by appraiser as I1 J but still a pretty stone. Had a feather in the table but it wasn't blatant.

New ring in Signature.

2.57 Princess GIA F VS2 Very Good cut Ex Polish and Symetry

Had to give up on cut because she wanted super white and super size and eye clean for certain.

its from James Allen. Anyone care to play guess how much?

I think they discounted the heck out of this stone because the cut wasn't Excellent.

Just be sure that the girdle is not very thin (which sometimes is the reason for very good) because that stone has a lot of exposed edges, and diamonds with very thin girdles are more susceptible to chipping.
 
very pretty princess! so white! no one took any guesses but I'd be very curious to know how much (since you are saying you suspect there was a steep discount), if you don't mind.

Thanks for posting the still.

I opted for this setting over the basket setting they suggested and I think it makes the stone stand out a ton
