Here is my new upgrade. The stone is a .84/K/SI1 "Heartstar" H&A purchased from a local jeweler. Setting is by Alfred Butler and is done with a 18K yg shank with a 18K wg 6-prong head. My wedding band is a 2mm Lucida from T&Co.
Thank you all for your compliments. I really love this ring. It is sooo sparkly! The setting does look very similar to the Vatche Royal Crown, which I didn''t realize when I picked it out. I just love the way it flows. Also, if you look at the profile pic of it when it''s not on my hand you can see how much gold was used on the shank
One of my biggest complaints about my old set was how cheap they were with the gold. Anyways, I am beyond happy with this ring.
I wasn''t going to, but I want to put a plug in for David Fairclough Fine Jewlers in Toledo, Ohio, which is where this project came to life.
When funds allow I am having the side-stones from my old set made into a bezel set band in yg to go with my new ering. I don''t know if I will go full eternity or not - haven''t decided yet. The other option would be to trade-in the stones from my old set and have the jewler order some H&A stones for the band
I like this idea, but I don''t know what size we''d be able to get going that route. The stones I have are 8pts each. Time will tell...
Thank you all again and I am going to take some pics of my new ering with my current eternity band soon!
