Excellent Cut
.90ct -1 carat
VS1-VS2 in clarity
H- I color diamond
My budget is 2000-3000 dollar range.

Anyone have good experience with the websites below?

I've been looking at diamonds on genesis diamond which is where I got my setting from. They have really competitive prices when it comes to diamonds. Also i've been on union diamond which also has competitive prices. Any recommendations?

You will be hard-pressed to find a good princess at that price. You will either have to increase your budget, compromise on your specs, or rethink your setting. Personally, I would rethink the setting. Verragio settings are overpriced and underwhelming, IMO... also, you will be spending as much on the setting as on the diamond -- and the diamond will not be 1 ct if you decide on the Verragio, making it look out of proportion. I would get a similar (3 stone) setting or a solitaire with a nicer larger diamond, and think about upgrading to the Verragio later if she has her heart set on that particular brand.

This is from JA. It's an SI, but looks eye-clean. When I put in your preferred specs, nothing showed up... not even for $4000.

Thank you for your reply. Seem to be the only one replying.
Iv'e already purchased the actually setting. Yeah I did it backwards but since they take some time to make it I didn't want to risk it trying to get engaged in April. So I now have to stick with it.

I suggest you read ojtwelve's thread. He was looking for a similar stone and he was offered quite a few suggestions for a same sized stone and a similar budget - he's bought a stone now, so you could check out the one's he didn't go for?
