It scores a 1.8 Excellent on the HCA but you need to ask the vendor for an ASET to see how much leakage is in the stone. Have you seen it in person? Love the strong blue fl. Just make sure it is not cloudy. Could be a great stone. J's face up surprising white if it is a well cut diamond. You can't really tell by the numbers.

There are more PSr's who have more knowledge of RB diamonds than i do.

Many thanks! I saw the stone in person. It looks absolutely white. The sparkle is less than expected though. But for 12000 for this rock, I thought it is a good value. What do you think?

$12k sounds pretty solid, imo. if you dont buy it, send me the name of the seller!

The excellent price is most likely due to the very strong fluorescence. You just need to be sure you look at the diamond in different lighting and be certain it is not cloudy appearing. Is there a return policy? Honestly, it may not be the most perfect cut, but that price is excellent and I would probably try it if I were looking for a stone that size, color, and clarity. Come back with pictures!

12K is 4000 less than any other J/SI1.

Looks like you may have an incredible deal on your hands. Get an Idealscope image, but also be real careful that the floursence isn't affecting the stone.

Did you get this from blue nile? I think i saw this stone in the recently purchased section. It caught my eye because the price was so good.

Did they check to see if it is eye clean? does the fluorescence have a negative effect? If not, then you got a great buy!

I actually really like the numbers on this stone, it should be nice and firey!! Post pics!

A point of clarification, an ASET is not really useful for modern rund brilliants, if you choose to obtain additional imaging you would want an Ideal Scope image.

The stone looks like a good performer and a great price. Nice find! Check if its eye clean though!

Can you ask the vendor to send you photos - is there any chance, if they could, that they'd show you what it looks like in daylight/office light/ incandescent and flourescent light? I know it seems like a weird request, but if you can not see it in person, those are the conditions I'd want to know about before spending that money.

If all works out well, it does seem like a good diamond!
