My husband and I bought this Tiffany 16-stone (that''s the offical name) band last week in Maui. We also bought 2 18kt. yellow gold 2mm plain thin bands to wear on both sides of the band. I have to have something to help keep the band on because I am a size 5 on my ring finger and a size 5.5 on my ring finger on my right hand. This ring is my "tide me over" ring! I will wear it til I make up my mind on what i really want for my upgrade. So I bought the 5.5 size so I can wear it on my right hand when I get the other ring. So far now I am wearing the plain gold bands on both sides. Now for the question - do you guys think thin diamond eternity bands would look ok on both sides? I tried 2 on with the band at Tiffanys, but they were 4,000.00 each and the same type of band at Facets is around 1290.00 each. I am reluctant to get the diamond bands, but I love bling! I also love the Tiffany band.( I know it''s Tiffany, but it was the only jewelry store around us and he was in the buying mood!) So would you add the 2 thin diamond bands (2mm each, 1.07ct each, plat.)?

The Schlumberger ring!!! I love that ring, it is gorgeous.

I love bling as much as the next gal, but in this particular case, I think that the design is so unique that diamond bands will detract instead of add. Hand pics of ring w/bands please!!!

Oh, I have tried! I took pictures this afternoon, but they turned out really poor. The ring is not as large as it appears in the picture. When I have the gold bands on with the Tiff band, the thin bands just sorta blend in and you really don''t see them as separate bands. I will try tomorrow to get better pics on hand.

A friend of mine has the same ring but with alternating rubies and diamonds. It is very pretty and delicate on the hand. I DEEPLY covet the sapphire version.
