ok, I had an eternity ring custom made last year - the local jewelers told me my size was a 5.5 but my e rings were a 5 so I originally went with 5.25, well it came and was too tight for my liking. so i had it resized all the way to 6 and it still felt snug on almost a regular basis and the second I got warm, i had sausage finger which I HATE. so now it's getting resized again - I've been wearing a cheapy 6.5 that I got and it's pretty perfect right now in colder weather, it slides off easily but will not just fall off, and this is exactly how I like it to fit, more on the loose side. so my question is, should i go with 6.75 to account for swell or even a little more than 6.75? it can be any size since it's custom. please help! thank you!

Seems a very long way from a 5 to a 6.75! Why not buy a cheap set of sizing rings from eBay or somewhere and experiment with them until you find the right one?

lol yes it is but my size 5 was from 11 years ago and I think my finger conformed and over the years and 3 babies later those rings were tighter than I wanted, and I didn’t realize with an eternity being worn alone I didn’t want ANY finger buldge , I just wish I knew I liked my rings looser to begin with, last year when I went to get sized locally for my eternity and the jeweler ls kept insisting I was a 5 and I like nobthay seems right but figured trust them they’re professionals lol - I’ve been wearing cheap size 6.5’s and love the way they fit which is why I thought 6.75 would be PERFECT ‍♀️

If there is any chance that a 6.75 would slip off, I would not go that route. You can get a ring sizer in a 6.75 and wear it for a few days to see how it works out for you. If it falls off when you get sweaty or your hands get wet, you might be best served with a 6.5 .

I size my rings (wb, er) a quarter size bigger than needed in the winter to account for summer heat/swelling, and just add a thin stacker in the winter/non-swelling times to keep them from slipping off.

The OP posted the exact same thread three times...
