Help With Pendant

Hi, I'm a newbie in the world of colored stones, but have been an admirer for years. I have seen the attached pendant in photos and would love to have one made similar to it. Could anyone give me a guess as to the size of this amethyst (dimensions) and where I might be able to find one as well as who might set it for me. Thanks in advance for any help offered!

It is difficult to gauge because we do not know the size of the lady or your neck. It is all about proportions. What you can do is make paper cut outs of a rectangular shape and hold it up to your décolletage until it matches what you see in the picture.

Chrono...good idea, and why not print out the photo and make different sizes and tape it to a chain? It's very similar to the style made by Sally and her artisans at Etsy, Heart of Water. You may wish to describe to her what you want and see if she can source the stone for you.

At your suggestion, I have emailed her to see if she can work with me on this pendant. Great idea to cut out a picture and attach to chain and see what size looks best. I just love the look of this pendant.
