Thanks so much for the detailed explanation...I have learned so much in past few days. This forum is really helpul for people like us who do not have enough knowledge and can''t just rely on what sales person tells us.

I think I will go with this one for right now given the choices I have and my budget. I think price is very reasonable. It is better than anyother store''s. Plus better than online prices. Just because they have sale going on.

Please let me know if you think price is not good.

Thanks again.
After a quick search on JA I would say the price is very competitive. Stones of similar specs are being sold online for the same price. Have you seen the stone in person?

No. Not yet. Will see this weekend. Thanks.

make sure to look at the diamond in different lighting environments (not just the bright spotlights where everything looks great), also check if it is eye-clean

Hi All,

Just wanted to give an update and also see if other people have also noticed one thing that I did.

I did see 1.70 carat diamond this weekend. When I saw it under store lights, it didn''t seem very different from the 2.0 carat one. But then when I took it outside and saw it under the sun, 1.70 was definitely more clear and sparkly as compared to 2.0 carat.

Has anybody else also seen difference in diamond compared to store light vs sunlight?
