Longtime lurker first time poster. Finally received the idealscope images for 3 diamonds I'm interested in from James Allen. I'm curious if I would be safe getting any of them or one or more should be a definite no.

Taken from the email I received: "I took the liberty of having the gemologist inspect your diamonds while they were capturing the images, and you’ll be happy to hear that all three of your diamonds come highly recommended! Diamonds ($3,490) and ($3,130) have excellent fire, brilliance, and scintillation, appear eye clean, and are equals in terms of light performance. The only difference is that diamond 810634 is slightly whiter. Diamond ($3,600) has great light performance and is bright in its own right. It’s eye clean and has an white “F” color."

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

#2 us the best one. Try for a stone with a crown at 34 degrees if you can find one (and that passes on the HCA).

hmm.. definitely a crown angle of 34-35 is preferred.

But, some of diamonds I saw recently (including these three here) with the crown angle 33~34 range are not bad, when coupled with a steep pav angle.
IS images are good, the actual photos are good. Some are also AGS0 candidates. HCA scores are also less than 2.0.
AND THAT DEPTH and SPREAD with 6mm+ diameter

THe stones are more 60/60 style instead of Tolk style. So there is a higher tolerance for a 33.5 crown angle. In a Tolk style, personally, I wouldn't want before 34.

Thanks for your help! I'm glad I asked as I was going to go with #1 as it seemed more symmetrical in the photo of the diamond. So #2 is definitely the best choice even with the lower color? I understand your points about the crown angle but since they're all XXX wouldn't the angles work together? I am a newbie though so thanks for any explanations. We've already gone and tried on rings so color isn't a huge concern as long as it's an I or above (this is for an engagement ring).
