Hi everyone,

Just wanted to update my search for advice on a diamond we put a deposit for. I wrote a prior thread but at the time didn't have some images to offer for review. Diamond is a 1.30 carat, H, SI1 / GIA triple excellent. As I learned on the last thread, it is a 60/60 style cut. Here are some photos. If anyone can provide some feedback, that would be great!

The ASET looks generally solid though I do wonder whether it was taken just ever slightly askew on a a very slight angle.

I'm more of a precision symmetry kinda guy so that arrow shaft not meeting the arrow head smack bang in the middle bugs me. But, other than that, it looks ok. Not seeing any blatantly obvious dark areas under the table and it looks clean under there too.

As long as the price is right and you like the style, go for it. The ASET looks good.

Great! Yes the one arrow not meeting up center bugs me too... I thought the ASET was good, just wanted to check what others thought.

Thanks!

It was, the easiest way to tell is the different length arrow shafts.
The arrow shafts will appear longer the direction of the tilt and shorter the other way.
This one is tilted 2 directions.
The camera being tilted can also cause it but usually to a lesser extent.
Telling the difference is not an as exacting, not that it really matters much with rounds as long as the tilt isn't severe.

is this why it appears different color red in part? is the deep red or the orange-red better?

Some parts draw light from both green and red, its enough to change the color a bit.
Totally normal and a good thing.

Oh good! I feel like we made a pretty good choice with the stone and it definitely gives the visual impact we want for the ring. Thanks so much :))

ASET type image with the red removed.

Back light only.
These mix with red to produce the different colors.
