Help with Engagement Ring Style

I am looking for a classic looking engagement ring in white gold with two or three side stones. I plan on setting it with about a carrot stone. I am aiming for a simple look which places focus on the center stone. My girlfriend has a 7.5 size. I have narrowed it down to these two settings:

http://www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rings/side-stones/14k-white-gold-common-prong-diamond-engagement-ring-item-661

She is a thin, fit woman but is the petit style too small for a size 7.5?

Any votes of one over the other or other suggestions?

Thanks,

Warren

I'm not sure if you referred to the stone size or not, but let me just say that a full carat is definitely not petite for a diamond - although I do understand that different people have different expectations.
The overall style of both of those rings is classic and feminine, safe choices and I say this only in a good way! I don't think they are too dainty for her size, people on this forum seem to have tiny ring sizes, but I'm under the impression that 7 is sort of the average size irl - so I don't feel there's any reason to try and mask that size to be any smaller than it is. I am about a size 7, and I am having my ring made with a really similar sort of understated pavé band with a half carat center stone. Timeless design that can easily take all sorts of wedding bands.

The JA stone gets my vote.

There have been several people unhappy with Blue Nile's setting quality recently.
