I realize this is Holiday time and many people are on vacation. I would sincerely appreciate any help!! I have tried to do as much homework as I can :read: and have selected 2 stones 1 with a HCA of 1.0 the other HCA of 1.4. They are of similar price. Any advice on picking? Am I on the right track for a really brilliant diamond to go in a Tiffany style 6 prong setting? (really just want to showcase the diamond!). I think I maybe have read too much about how "off" the angles and measurements could truly be and many people dont like the HCA. etc... a million thanks!! I am a cancer research Physician and trying to sort through all of this is tougher than anything I do.......!!

Diamond 1: 0.80 F VVS1 depth 61.5 table 55% Pavillion angle 40.8 Crown angle 34.7 HCA 1.4

Sorry, I'm not an expert; I can only say that, by numbers and images, both of them should be great performers.
Let's wait for experts' opinions.

Yap, looks fine from the numbers and images. Clarity is a bit of an overkill as you will not be able to see any inclusions ,even with a loupe, at VS1 level unless you know what and where to look for.

I guess you're searching a high quality diamond: I think you can "maximize" your budget and try to find a bigger diamond without going below your high standards.
Do you lust for bigger carat?
Is it for you or for your fiancee?
Are you open to other options?
If so, I think you can take a look at this:

1.1 on HCA...I will ask Whiteflash more information on this diamond.

Just a suggestion, there are a bunch of options, let me know what you think.
