Help on this 1.70 carat round diamond

Hi diamond experts,

I am looking at this 1.70 carat round diamond and would love to know your comments on it, particularly the cutting.

Stats:
Ideal-cut, G-color, VVS2-clarity.
Table: 59%, Depth: 61%, Crown Angel: 34.5%, Pavilion Angel: 40.8%

I calculated the HCA score, it's 1.8.

Since I am buying it online, I got a picture of it, but the pattern seems rather messy to me. I just don't know whether this comes from the lighting condition, or it reflects the not-so-perfect cutting of this diamond. What would you say based on the photo?

The price is 18000. Worth a buy?

It looks good to me. Can they do an idealscope image? I'll go check prices. You're paying extra for VVS which really isn't necessary. VS1 is extremely clean and VS2 is usually clean.

That is actually a very good price! Is it GIA or AGS graded?

Thanks a lot for the input! It is GIA graded -EX. I am actually happy with VS1, it just turns out that for all VS1 and above stones I looked at, this one seems like a best deal.

Yes, it is priced more like a VS1 which is terrific! The numbers are good enough that I'd feel okay about you buying, but it is always good when you can get an idealscope image just to check leakage.
