Help needed with a sapphire I purchased

Hello!

I have purchased a sapphire as per my previous thread. I have received the stone today. I can unfortunately not take any pictures, for they come out very blurry. My question is that the face of the gem shows several rings one inside another (a bit like a tree trunk?). Is this normal? It is not visible from all angles. Does cleaning get rid of this? I have tried to research it but it is a bit hard to describe in google terms
