Help me reset my e-ring

We've been married 10 years and it's time to update my e-ring!

I have a 1.6 carat princess with 2 trillion side stones, (see picture). My wedding ring is eternity ring with princess stones in channel set. I don't like my trillion side stones because they don't sparkle like the center stone. For years, I've been wanting to change the setting.

Does anyone else have experience with trillions?

I like the halo setting, but I wonder, has anyone else seen a halo setting where the shank is princess channel set?

Another possibility is to switch the 2 trillion side stones for 2 princess. What size princess side stones would be appropriate for 1.6c center stone?
