My preference cutwise is for the original 1.30, but they are all potentially nice choices. I am wondering if GOG do videos of a diamond lineup on request for a customer - just a thought for Aurora as she might be able to be able to compare all 3 this way. Also Jon and his staff will be able to tell you which diamond " sings" the most out of your lineup.

My preference in order would be

1.3 L (mainly because of color and a hair bigger)

1.258 K nice one also

I personally don't like the numbers on the 1.58, wouldn't consider it.

Here they''re, face down.

Face up.
All 3 are pretty and I like them all

Great pics from GOG!!

I am guessing they are in the same order below face up? They all look lovely, do you have a preference??!

No preference as yet. Same order i suppose cos the 2nd pic was sent just like that.
I just realised something funny abt the stones. In pic1, 1.5 is biggest while 1.3 look smallest. But in pic2, (1.258 is obviously smallest) but why does 1.3 look nearly the same size as 1.5? Can someone pl explain?

It depends on the spread of the 2 diamonds - how they show their weight face up. You could have 2 diamonds of 1.5 carats, one of which has a normal depth, the other is cut more shallow. The shallower diamond could look larger than the one with the greater depth, it all depends. The diameter measurements are usually the thing to look at as these will tell you how large the diamond looks face up. Weight can be hidden in various ways too such as with a thick girdle. Think of 2 people of a similar weight, one may be taller than the other and look thinner too, it just depends how the weight is distributed, same with diamonds. Also once you get into a larger carat weight, face up size differences are less noticable to the eye too.

Listed are the table % of the stones.

1.258K - 56.79%
1.58L - 62.49%
1.3L - 56.8%

I can understand 1.258 look smallest face up cos its table % is the lowest. While 1.258''s table % is only a little lower than 1.3''s table %, the face up difference is pretty big.
Comparatively, 62.49% is way higher than 56.8% but the face up size difference isn''t the great.
Why is that so? I expected a very big face spread for 1.5.

Or maybe it''s illusion effect? Cos the smallest is placed in the center so the other 2 looks abt the same size

I misread the proportions of the 1.58 - I thought it said the table was 57 and the depth was 62.4, this could have the effect of making the diamond look larger for its weight as it is a shallower cut diamond. Often though the actual visual differences between carat weights and face up size of diamonds isn't as great as one might think.
