Help me is it diamond?

I have a stone that looks like a raw diamond weighing 160 ct and with sp.g of 3.478. It measures 4cm by 2.5 cm by 2.5 cm. I need help to find a lab to check if this is the real thing or a helpful advice to prove from anyone.

Take it into a local jewelry store. Most have diamond testers they can use to check it for you.

What country are you in? I would recommend the GIA Gem Trade Laboratory. They have take-in windows throughout the world.

I don''t understand - how can you have rough of 160cts and not know what it is?

Many thanks for you quick reply Richard. I got this from someone and suspect it came from pinatubo. Am not ecstatic but you guys are expert on this subject. I''ll try the other guys''s suggestion to take it to jewelry store that may have a diamond tester.

Thanks for you reply. This stone looks like any diamond in the picture. It is heavy at 32 gram and the sp.g is 3.478 similar to the real thing. I wl post the picture hopefully as soon as I could get a USB.
