Hi, I received this ring as a gift but I have no clue of the gemstone. It’s supposed to be “sapphire” but it’s not the royal blue I’m often seeing as my birthstone. Is it still sapphire or the person giving me the ring got confused? Sorry if the pictures are too blurry :(( and thanks a lot for any help! Sapphires come in every color, except red, because if it's red it is called ruby. That is definitely a color sapphire can be. We can't say for sure if it is or not from just a picture but you can take it to a jeweler and ask.
